Where PrometheX Lives
PrometheX runs on Arbitrum — a fast, affordable blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Here’s what’s currently available and what’s coming next.Current: Arbitrum Sepolia (Testnet)
PrometheX is currently live on Arbitrum Sepolia, which is a testnet — a practice version of the blockchain. Everything works exactly like the real thing, but the tokens have no real monetary value. This is where you can learn, experiment, and explore risk-free.

Why Arbitrum?
You might wonder why PrometheX chose Arbitrum instead of Ethereum mainnet or another blockchain. Here are the reasons:Low Fees
Transactions on Arbitrum cost a fraction of a cent compared to several dollars on Ethereum mainnet. This makes it practical for PrometheX to sponsor all gas fees on your behalf.
Fast Transactions
Trades confirm in seconds on Arbitrum, giving you a responsive, app-like experience. No waiting minutes for your trade to go through.
Ethereum Security
Arbitrum is a Layer 2 rollup — it bundles transactions and posts them back to Ethereum for final security. You get Arbitrum’s speed with Ethereum’s safety.
Ecosystem
Arbitrum has a thriving ecosystem of DeFi protocols, bridges, and tools. This means more ways to get USDC, more integration possibilities, and a larger community.
What Is a Layer 2?
A Layer 2 (or L2) is a network that sits on top of another blockchain (the “Layer 1”) to make it faster and cheaper. Think of it like an express lane on a highway:- Ethereum (Layer 1) is the main highway — secure but crowded and slow during peak times
- Arbitrum (Layer 2) is an express lane — fast and cheap, but all the cars eventually check back into the main highway for security
Do I Need to Switch Networks?
No. PrometheX handles everything for you. When you sign in, the app automatically connects to the correct network. You don’t need to:- Add custom networks to a wallet
- Switch between chains manually
- Hold ETH for gas on any network
